Treatment & Services

When your mental health challenges require outside help, Wellstone Regional Hospital can offer you the support you need. Our goal is to help improve your mental and emotional health. We offer both abstinence-based and medication-assisted detoxification programs. Our objective is to help individuals find sobriety through modalities, including the 12 Steps of Recovery, and learn new coping skills that allow them to share their experiences and hope with other patients so they can complete treatment with improved functioning and a brighter future.

Our respect for each individual and our emphasis on restoring hope set us apart from other behavioral health facilities. Our dedicated staff members provide a quality clinical program that encourages individuals to help themselves and focuses on individualized treatment.

Programs for Adults

Wellstone Regional Hospital offers care designed to meet the needs of patients struggling with mental health issues and chemical dependency. Our addiction program is designed to provide physical, social, spiritual, medical and psychotherapeutic treatment interventions.

Programs for Adolescents and Children

Seeking treatment for your child is one of the hardest decisions you will ever make. We will work with parents and caregivers to determine treatment goals and discharge plans to help young patients gain new coping skills to give them a better chance for success at home and school.

Taking the First Step

A no-cost behavioral healthcare assessment is your first step towards wellness. No appointment is necessary and assessments are available 24/7. A clinical staff member will meet with you in confidence to listen to your concerns, symptoms and feelings. Our clinician will review the assessment with the psychiatrist, who will then recommend the treatment plan best for you.

Suicide Prevention

The National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention (Action Alliance), a public-private partnership, has partnered with Wellstone Regional Hospital, to strengthen the country’s clinical capacity to provide innovative suicide prevention and care. The partnership significantly advances one of the central priorities of the Action Alliance—to transform health systems and reduce suicides—and marks Wellstone Regional Hospital’s commitment to being at the leading edge of the transformation.

As a proud supporter of the National Action Alliance on Suicide Prevention, Wellstone Regional Hospital provides education and resources to the communities we serve.
